Colona Castle, Lakeside

I had the delight of spending a weekend in the gorgeous English Suite. The décor was exquisite with a magnificent double volume ceiling, and the luxurious creamy tones made it feel very elegant. It featured two bathrooms, including an open plan one with a Victorian tub that I absolutely loved! The enormous bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view of the city from the room was simply amazing.

We enjoyed a good breakfast at Colona Castle each morning. It was beautifully cooked and served on fine crockery with crisp white linen tablecloths, which was a refreshing change from your typical hotel buffet. The variety of choices was fantastic and the stunning view from the breakfast room made the experience even more nice!

The bathroom in my suite had heated floors, which made a huge difference during the cooler evenings! There was also a towel warmer that provided extra comfort. Small touches like these truly enhanced my overall experience and made me feel pampered during my stay.

My room at Colona Castle was impressively spacious with a massive, comfortable bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The additional features like the private balcony and beautifully designed décor made it feel like a home away from home. I felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated throughout my stay.
